Tapas Club Malaysia has just launched their New Menu and it sounds as mouth-watering as ever!
Founded by world acclaimed Chef Jose Angel Alonso and Michelin star Chef Manuel Berganza, the restaurant serves authentic Spanish cuisine at reasonable prices. It is tucked deep inside Pavilion Bukit Bintang and the environment is really comfortable, making it a great choice for dates, parties or any social gatherings.
Tapas is literally the dream for those who enjoy ordering and sampling a variety of different foods at a single meal. You can eat everything you want without the trouble of finding excuses to disguise your greediness.
Take a look at some of their NEW and BEST SELLING Tapas, Paella as well as Desserts.
[BEST SELLER] Probably a staple in every Spanish restaurant, no wonder the Garlic Prawns (RM25) is one of their best sellers. This light and appetising dish is the perfect starter consisting of simply large, fresh and bouncy prawns covered in a sauce packed full with flavour that's made with prawn stock.
[BEST SELLER] Omelette has never been this elegant until you try the Spanish Omelette with Truffle Aioli (RM25). The mix of confit potato with caramelised onion in the omelette is enhanced by the truffle, giving it a luscious flavour.
[LIMITED TIME: Chef's Special] One of my personal favourite, the Seafood Pasta (RM38) comes with a generous amount of mussels, prawns and clams. The delectable and appetising tomato-based angle hair pasta pairs very well with the seafood as the dish is cooked with homemade stock.
[BEST SELLER] Pork Belly with Cabbage and Potato (RM25) features some juicy well-seasoned pork belly on top of a bed of cabbage and potato.
[NEW] As simple as the dish sounds, the Garlic Chicken (RM25) dish consists of golden coloured, fragrant, yummy, bite-sized, well-marinated chicken.
[NEW] Slow cooked with herbs and spices, the super duper soft and tender Pork Cheek with Spanish Piquillo Pepper (RM25) is served with mash potato, asparagus and topped with brown sauce. We could only wish there was more of it!
[LIMITED TIME: Chef's Special] A unique dish created by the chef with Asian inspired flavours. Spicy Soft Shell Crab Paella (RM68) spots a little hint of spiciness for us Malaysians who need that kick but not too much heat until it becomes unbearable. The bomba rice is flavoursome and cooked to perfection. This dish is definitely a feast for both the eyes and the palate!
For those who can't decide between seafood or poultry, you'll be satisfied with their Chicken and Seafood Paella (RM68). Once again tasty, and topped with good amounts of meats and greens.
[BEST SELLER] My favourite paella out of the 3 that we sampled was their Squid Ink Paella (RM68). It has that nicely balanced savory flavour with a fresh ocean aroma that seafood gives, all thanks to the squid ink.
[BEST SELLER] A classic Spanish dessert, Tapas Club's Churros with Chocolate Sauce (RM22) is freshly prepared in-house, dusted in sugar, served alongside warm dipping chocolate sauce and good for sharing!
[BEST SELLER] A modern twist on the classic, the "Tapas Club" Cheese Cake (RM22) is served as a deconstructed dessert. The cake has an interesting smooth mousse-like texture enhanced with biscuit bits that lend the dish some crunch. An overall pleasurable way to end the meal on a sweet note.
Give their interesting Spanish flavours a try the next time you're in town!
